REBRANDING
COY CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, INC.
BACKGROUND
Coy Capital Management, Inc. is a financial advisor group in Pittsburgh providing a full range of investment and financial services. With significant growth in revenue and services since the start of their business, they realized their brand positioning and goals had changed. They also recognized their need for more professional sales materials to continue growth. The old logo, as you will see below, did not represent their high standards in the investment arena.

GOAL
To level up Coy Capital Management, Inc.'s brand to match their business growth.

STRATEGY
After extensive research and diving into the business of financial advisors through collaborative meetings with the client, it was decided to pursue an upscale rebranding across all channels. The process of uncovering this new brand's look and feel included strategic questions for the client and customer profiling in order to appeal to the target demographic.

The client is very happy with the new look, feel, and personality of their new brand and they feel it accurately represents CCM. Their target audience has been receptive to the rebrand; the sales team has made significant progress with the new materials and they are proud to represent and uphold the new graphic and positioning standard. EXECUTION
The new brand personality is a contemporary take on the classic architecture of Roman columns representing strength, trust, and experience. The logo redesign implemented the acronym CCM to create a column image that is understated, yet recognizable. The font is classic serif font that matches the historic concept of the column and also the financial, conservative feel.

We created style guides to help keep brand consistency. It includes logo usage instruction and a mood board for the new brand which brings clarity on how the brand should to look, sound and feel (the mood).

We developed several marketing pieces for Coy Capital Management, Inc., including sales materials such as the large and small brochures shown above as well as technical and legally required financial pieces.

The Coy Capital Management, Inc. logo design process was based on the established strategy from our meetings. Below you will see some of the idea development through word association, representing visuals, sketching, and then moving into creating the solid ideas by drawing it in the program Adobe Illustrator. Each logo option is created in black and white so that colors do not influence the decision, rather, they focus on the concept. We show them in solid and reverse, plus large and small to gage legibility and we present our design rationale to help our clients make an informed decision.

Below is the marketing sales folder package. It was designed with plenty of space for not only the sales sheets and materials, but also all of the financial legally required materials for their meetings.
To continue with the brand rollout, the website and digital interfaces were updated with the new logo and branding.
